There is no doubt Rockstar will launch gta 5. But they didn’t do that so quickly. There is a reason for this. Gta 5 is the most successful franchise from rockstar. GTA, GTA 2, GTA 3, GTA 4 are all success. Rockstar didn’t want to spoil that success easily. There is huge hard work behind every gta games. Now, the backbone of Rockstar is GTA. Rockstar is working on many titles now. The latest release L.A Noire didn’t work like expected. The sales are average. However the GTA titles are still selling after so many years. From the authorized sources (Forbes), the gta 5 won’t be launched until 2013. The Red dead: Redemption is another title that worked like expected. Many fans are also expecting the successor of this game too. Both the RDR and GTA are the oxygen of Rockstar now. GTA 5 is said to be released on platforms PS3, PC, Xbox 360 and PSVITA (rumor). However there is a chance for GTA 5 to be on PS VITA. The VITA is becoming more familiar to the developers. It’ll help the Publishers to gain more sales. Imagine the Gta 5 with 120 f/s on handheld device. No doubt we’ll get more juice than the ps2. Now the PSV= PS2. The rumors say that there will be no GTA 5 on PS2. The psp games are backward compatible with VITA. So, gta 5 on PS vita is possible. And there will be chance for cross platform gaming with ps3. Vita owners can compete with ps3 owners now. And next GTA 5 could be a Huge Multiplayer game. So many players compete for taking missions and Instead of taking the story through a narrow story line it’s wise to take the story through an open world. And in this open world game, players can chat and gather to taking group missions. Microsoft offers cross video chatting with the help of Skype. And this is another feature what we can expect on GTA 5. Most probably Rockstar may expect an average lifespan of 5-6 years for gta5. This could be another reason for Gta 5 delay.
