Last year, FIFA’ 12 was revolutionary with Player impact engine. But there were plenty of problems with this engine like bones are out of socket, twisted legs and some weird things. In FIFA 13 these are all fixed and new improvements are added. Now you can see off the ball battle between players. Stronger Players can now take the possession of the ball using their body. Means the game is more physical and intensive. It’s an advantage to stronger players. The speed demons can no longer take the advantage against the best defenders. Once the speedy players are manages to clear top class defenders, the attack can be blocked by quick tug of the shirt which changes balance and momentum of the attacking player. What you won’t get in FIFA 13 was in FIFA 12 is the diving. The FIFA 13 won’t feature diving.
The PES 13 Engine is solid. The glitches are less. The PES 13 Defenders are already doing well except in some cases they perform terribly on pitch. The Konami team is now more worked on goalkeepers. The Goalkeepers response will change according to pitch condition and situations. The Goal keeper will push the ball to safe zones rather than dangerous zones.
Attacking Intelligence
In FIFA 13 the computer players will think more sharply to create openings and passing routes for teammates. When they get chance, they make runs and clear defenders to create openings and attacking opportunities. But in PES the AI system has already been implemented before. Which means the AI in PES 13 will be more advanced than FIFA 13.
First touch System Vs Dynamic first touch
In FIFA 13 the first touch is now precise. The ball speed, trajectory and defensive pressure will decide the first touch. The PES 13 has the dynamic first touch system. And the PES player has plenty of tricks and traps to take control of the ball. The FIFA 13 touch system is using physics more. But in real case the wind pressure, rain and wind velocity has an effect on ball trajectory. Means the ball trajectory is not been controlled by players.
FIFA 13 Dribbling VS PES 13 Dribbling
The FIFA dribbling system has already been evolved and plenty of skills in players arsenal. In FIFA 13 you can see unique dribbling for some players. PES 13 dribbling slowed down to normal and has more skills during the run.
Player Uniqueness
This is very interesting. In FIFA 13 every player seemed to same from sideline camera unless you turn on names in setting. The PES 13 has the new Player ID feature. In pes game you can identify the player without turn on the names. The player in the PES has the individuality. Each player is different. The run, turn, shooting, dribbling and every movement is different. And has different styles and animation for different players.
Both companies worked well to improve their franchise. It's hard to choose between these two games. The're toe to toe.
